As you’re all aware, I love vegan fashion and what goes side by side with fashion?…accessories! I honestly felt honored when JORD watches contacted me in regards to sending a watch out from one of their lines and I obviously jumped at the chance to collaborate with them.

As a company JORD watches have that kind of vibe that I fell in love with, the team are a mix of creative individuals from artists to designers and I can only imagine how fantastic the atmosphere is in their offices are, as quoted on their our story page, their philosophy is:

“The value of a watch is not being able to tell how much time has passed, but in being aware of how to make that time count. Moments are bigger then minutes and your watch should tell more then time.”

When I read the above I gained a sense of not only the values of JORD watches as a company but also the people behind the creations of the watches themselves and in my opinion that is just as important as the products.

About The Watch

I picked the Frankie series in Zebrawood & Champagne which retails at $189, in the U.K that’s about £144ish (depending on the currency conversion rates at the time, non U.K residents should check their local currency). On receiving my JORD watch I couldn’t believe the details and quality of it, many of their watches are afforable and the quality is most definitely of a high standard.

Unique Materials

JORD watches is 100% wood and it’s sustainable, they refrain from using toxic chemicals to treat or protect the wood and last but not least a lot of their watches feature what they call Sapphire glass (check here for details ) which is mechanically – quoted from JORD watches, “The second only to diamond as the hardest and most scratch resistant materials on earth”.

The Frankie series in Zebrawood & Champagne is among those that feature Sapphire glass so I’m feeling quite proud if I don’t say so myself! I love the authenticity of it and respect the fact that they have thought of every aspect in regards to not only storing the watch (the box is air-vented people!), but also by providing the preserve cleaning oil (100% natural with no artificial chemicals may I add) along with the required JORD engraved cloths.

Engraving Makes A Perfect Gift

Now along with all the above, as if JORD watches in my opinion, isn’t unique enough, you can also have the watch (or box) engraved either as a treat for yourself or for a loved one. I requested that my watch be engraved with a “JK” –  Yes, I’m guessing I didn’t have much of a creative head on the day I ordered mine but either way I think it’s a great personal touch and I love it! Click here for more details on the engraving page and you can also check out their Pinterest page for inspiration on engraved JORD watches here.

    Hello ,

I saw your tweet about animals and thought I will check your website. I like it!

I love pets. I have two beautiful thai cats called Tammy(female) and Yommo(male). Yommo is 1 year older than Tommy. He acts like a bigger brother for her. 🙂
I have even created an Instagram account for them ( ) and probably soon they will have more followers than me (kinda funny).

I wanted to subscribe to your newsletter, but I couldn’t find it. Do you have it?

Keep up the good work on your blog.
